I am an itinerant biophysicist/consultant/data scientist currently working on problems involving drug delivery, cellular characterization, science education, and pollution in the San Joaquin Valley. I am currently seeking new opportunities as a scientist, engineer, and computational analyst in California.

My past research lives have included postdoctoral work at UW Madison creating numerical models for flowing liquid crystals, a postdoc at UMass Amherst studying the geometric mechanics of folded structures, a postdoc at UCLA  looking at melting biopolymer filaments and submerged particle micro-rheology, as well as my graduate work at UCSD studying the interplay of geometry, continuum mechanics, and active materials.
